|
|
|
I installed MOL CP3 upgrade 2 days ago.
On the 1st day, everything went well.
On the 2nd day, on my 'slave' PC, I started to have the white crossed blinking red light, and no sound.
Yet, nothing at all was changed in the setup overnight, I just re-used SX on the master, and Kontakt standalone on the slave, as I had done the previous day...
What can it be ?
---
Also, I can't seem to get rid of the "old" MOL CP2 netports : they still appear in the list of available midi ports in my VST instruments' menus.
How can I trash them away ?
Thanks in advance ! |

An update to my first post....
and, well, at least it will feed the topic, since Musiclab seems to be far away those days, leaving me alone with my interrogations...............
------
I realized that my reliability problem is not with my computers' setup, but simply with Kontakt 2 :
NO sound + white crossed blinking indicator always show up if I launch K2 standalone just after booting my PC.
BUT,
If I launch, say, Korg M1 first, close it and launch K2 just afterwards, than the red blinking indicator is plain and normal, K2 is responding.
Weird.
----
I suppose it cannot be said that Kontakt is not midi compliant.... NI has been making midi virtual instruments for ages... so this must be a bug in MOL CP3.
------------------------------
And I still want to get rid of all those confusing "old" MOL2 ports (Netport1, 2, 3....etc).
What is the way to do that ? Uninstall MOL and re-install did not do the trick.
So I suppose it takes a register cleaning, but I will never go there without precise instructions !
Musiclab, can you help ? |
