I have a Mac G4 and a Windows XP machine. Both connect to the Net via a router, and I can share files OK. So far I have not been able to get MOL CP running, however.

A friend lent me a hub to see if the problem was with the router config, or the Mac or the PC side. Sure enough, with the hub instead of the router everything worked fine. So there is something in my router configuration which obviously is causing my problem. The router is a Linksys BEFSR81.

Can anybody help? I can't be the only person using MOL with a Linksys router!

Thanks!

Alan

After contacting Linksys, they told me the solution> You have to turn on PORT TRIGGERING FOR PORT 11000.

Every time you use any routers you should remember, MolCp uses IP and port num 11000 (see also User's Manual, article "Troubleshooting", the last paragraph). If some router prevents passing through IP packets for port 11000 (as builtin firewall), MolCp WILL NOT work.
