Hi,
I have updated my Realguitar, LPC and Real Strat to the 64bit versions but RealStrat is failing the AU validation in Logic 9.
the following is what appears
TESTING OPEN TIMES:
COLD:
ERROR: SoftSynth bundle not found!
ERROR: SoftSynth bundle not found!
FATAL ERROR: OpenAComponent: result: -10875,0xFFFFD585
validation result: couldn't be opened
updating properties of AU RealStrat by MusicLab...FAILED!
any ideas?????
thanks in advance. |

Hi kinnyboy,
the same happened here. Here is what I did to solve this problem:
- Open the finder
- enter "realstrat" into search field
- underneath on the left, make sure that "file name" is active
- then click on the + sign on the right and select "system files" -> include
This will show all files related to realstrat (probably some more like mails etc, but don´t worry about them).
Go through the search result and delete everything related to RealStrat, like
- com.musiclab.RealStrat.bom
- com.musiclab.RealStrat.plist
- com.musiclab.RealStrat.1.license.plist
...
and the likes. If you are NOT sure what to delete, make a backup copy first.
Once you have deleted everything (incl. the standalone app in your Applications folder), re-install RealStrat again. After installation, launch the standalone version FIRST and locate the key file with your serial number.
Then, launch Logic again. It should now validate fine.
P.S.: It may be that the 32-bit version still has trouble validating, so please note that the above situation did solve my issues with Logic 64-bit only! So I recommend to launch (and use) the 64-bit version instead of Logics 32-bit release.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards

| Sometimes I wonder why people bother to write a request with others trying to help and obviously never come back to say "thanks", "solved" or even read the reply? Very sad. |
