| Are there plans to release a 64 bit VST version of RealStrat and RealGuitar for the Mac? Those of us who are using Cubase on a Mac are still forced to use the 32 bit version at present. |

Hello,
Sorry, no plans for the 64bit VST version on Mac in the near future. But we will keep it in mind. 64bit VST users on Mac, please post your requests here. |

| Wow; this surprises me. The VST format is one of the most popular and common formats and Cubase is used by thousands of people around the world. Seems to me that 64 bit support for VST on a Mac should definitely be considered. Having to use bridge to run RG and RG makes their use less attractive as well. Please do consider a 64 bit version. Thanks...........frank |

(Please excuse my cross-posting.. I had already posted the following, before seeing this topic here)..
>Although you are correct when you say..
"We are glad to inform you about release of RealLPC 1.1. This update includes 64bit VST support on Windows Vista 64bit/Windows 7 64bit and 64bit AU support on Mac OS X 10.6. Cubase 6 64bit users on Mac OS X 10.6 can run RealLPC 32bit via Cubase's bridge.", unfortunately, the Cubase BitBridge does not allow a plugin's MIDI output to pass through (even though it looks to be still available in the dropdown menus). What's worse, Steinberg are aware of this limitation in the BitBridge, but have stated that there are no plans to fix it (I can't find the actual quote in their Public forum now, but I do remember reading it!).
Apparently, MIDI Out does work in JBridge, but of course that is PC only.
So, for now, Cubase Mac users are stuck without MIDI Out in 64-bit. _________________ Mac Pro Quad-Core 2.66 gHz | 16GB RAM | MOTU PCI-424/2408mk3|MOTU Midi Timepiece AV l Mac OS X 10.6.8|Cubase 6.5.1|Cubase 5.5.3|DP 7.24 |

| Please release a native 64-bit VST update for Mac. I'm using Cubase and my Music Lab software are the only remaining plugins running through a 32-bit bridge. |

To be clear. Are we saying I can only run realgtr and reallpc in 32bit cubase for Mac OSX? That totally sucks! I wondered why the plugins don't appear when I run cubase in 64bit mode.
Come in let get a release that works for 64bit cubase surely this is possible?!?! |

| I'd love to see 64 bit VST's for all the RealGuitar/LPC/Strat instruments. The VST is the only version that MIDI out works with, and having to use the 32 bit version with a bridge blows. |

Cubase 64-bit on Mac OS X allows you to load Intel-compiled 32-bit VST 2.4 plug-ins in case they’re not available in native 64-bit format, using the VST Bridge technology. Please check with the respective plug-in manufacturer if and when your favorite plug-ins will be available in native 64-bit format. Please note that PowerPC plug-ins and 32-bit-only VST 3 plug-ins will not be available using the 64-bit version of Cubase. _________________ A cynic is someone mnemonic devices who knows the price busco pareja of everything conocer gente |

.. but Cubase's VSTBridge does not pass MIDI Out from plugins. _________________ Mac Pro Quad-Core 2.66 gHz | 16GB RAM | MOTU PCI-424/2408mk3|MOTU Midi Timepiece AV l Mac OS X 10.6.8|Cubase 6.5.1|Cubase 5.5.3|DP 7.24 |

"Yes" > I upgrade; "No" > I don't. |
