being a guitar player, one of things that I loved doing was finding different voicing for chords that are not typically played. At the moment I use the solo mode to imitate chords that I have played on guitar and it works great, but I miss out on the functionality of using chord modes. Is there a way add a custom chord library to the guitar suites? I would love to ad the hendrix chord and other weird voicings to the chording mode. This way I would be able to build an automation in Logic to emphasize certain strings with certain velocity's and such (which I do in chord mode already). Does this make sense? I would like to set a fixed chord position by clicking notes on the fret board, or at least that is how I envisioned it. This way it is more natural like writing on guitar in the first place. Does this make sense? the chords sound more naturally played in the chord mode as well... or is this just my imagination.

Curtis,

We are working on Custom Chords option for all our guitar instruments, that will allow you create your own fingerings by clicking on a fretboard, save them in User Chord banks, assign on any key you like of a user specified key range, and use in all three chordal modes the same way you use the automatically constructed chords (strumming, picking, etc..)

You are right - chords sound better in Chords mode because it has its own string volume balance, as well as a lot of other 'strumming' features, such as velocity responsible and manually controllable (by the way you play chord in main zone) 'strum layering', automatical timing for up/down Strum, Slow strum, etc..

Regards,
Sergey
